the altitude sickness

We are a 60+ couple, we want to visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mt. but we are afraid of the altitude sickness. We plan to visit there in Nov./Dec. Any suggestions?

To be honest, since you are already 60+, it is not suggested to go there.
If you do not have any healthy problems, you can choose to go, but it is suggested to go during May to September. The weather condition during Nov./Dec. is not good.

If you are good health (doctors say you are OK) go. I just came back and made it. Most of the distance is by enclosed cable gondola. The reset (450 meters in altitude) is by foot climbing stairs. Take your time. You can buy oxygen enriched air cans to help you breath. I'm 65. I went in May.
