About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Coming from the US to Ulaan Battar w/48 hrs in beijing.Do I need to apply w/airline for transit visa

Not sure how to do this through the airline since its a Chinese airline. I would prefer to apply at airport if it will be just as fast. Is this possible? Are there costs?

Hi, the transit G is not necessary for this tranist, but you need to get a free transit permit issued at the airport. Please submit your request to the airline company which shall make the application to the border control authorities of the Beijing airport.
