About:Jinshanling Great Wall

I went to the Dongzhimen Bus Terminus to buy tickets in advance and found a poster advertising the trip to Jinshanling for 120 yuan.

I called the number on the poster (0314-8830222) and was told that there are no trips this weekend, but there will be a trip Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week (the 10th of June). The lady told me to show up between 7 and 8 (same day) to buy a ticket.

I then asked my hotel about tours and they told me that the Jinshanling segment is closed.

So before I extend my stay in Beijing (to include Monday) and go to the bus terminus at 7 AM, I wanted to ask if perhaps you can shed some light on this, i.e. is there going to be a bus this Monday (but none during the weekend)? Is there a way to buy tickets in advance? Is the Jinshanling segment open?

Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide.

Firstly, you need to know this section is open, so you can surely go and visit. But as I know, the direct tourism buses are generally in service during weekends and holidays. Next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be duirng Chinese Dragon Boat Fesival holiday, so the buses will certainly be in operation.

I heard that you cannot get the bus ticket in advance. Just go to the bus terminus to take~
