About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

architect from the united states with a swiss passport is in Mumbai and needs to go to China

from China he will need to come back to the US. Does he still need a G or can he just get the standard Visa? and is the G a seperate application from the Standard one application?

Hi, he needs to apply for a standard one, L for tourism or F for business/meeting. The G is for transit passengers only. Form should be used is the V2011A. For Swiss passport holder, he needs to fill out the supplementary form V2011B as well.
