About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do we need a visa for this?

If we fly to Beijing and travel to Tianjin to board a cruise ship to Japan next day.
Also, on return, the ship will disembark passengers in Tianjin, and we have to travel to Beijing to fly home.

Yes, you have to apply for a double entry Chinese tourist visa in advance for this trip.
