Thanks, Jimmy! Actually, I found another dock that is within the Guilin City (can't remember the name), south of the bridge, that we can start our river cruise. If you know, please let me know. What would be a good price for a cruise? How would we know that what we will be paying would be a luxury cruise? Once we get to YangShuo, what bus or train would we take to go back to Guilin? Can we bring our luggage onto the cruise if we decide to spend a night in YangShuo?

As far as I know, there are only two docks for this city to take the ferry, so I think you may mean the Mopanshan Dock. It is also about 28km from the city.
If you start from Mopanshan, the ferry fare is around 210RMB. Usually the luxury ferry starts from Zhujiang Dock and the fare is around 270RMB for the luxury boat.
From Yangshuo Bus Station, you can find the buses for GL. You can take your luggage onto the boat.

"The trip starts from the dock south of Liberation Bridge in Guilin downtown area. Otherwise some agencies will transport tourists to take a one-hour bus ride to the Bamboo River Dock (Zhujiang Dock) or the Millstone Hill Dock to start the cruise from its essential part."

I would like to start from the Liberation Bridge, rather than from the Bamboo River Dock (which is too far down). Where can I find and book with this cruise?
