Transit Visa Beijing

Hi,
Myself (Norwegian) and my partner (British) have a 13 hour stopover in Beijing with the final destination being the Philippines. We would like to leave the airport during the stopover. Do we need to apply for a transit G in advance or can we sort it out at the airport?

Hi, a transit G is not necessary as you only stay for 13 hours.
