Irish in South Korea needing a visa

I'm Irish, living in South Korea and want to visit China. I have less than 6 months left to live in South Korea, will this affect me getting a tourist L application? Thank you

Yes, the embassy requires the ARC with validity of more than half a year. You are suggested to contact a local travel agency for the latest information.
