I'll be traveling to Beijing, China very soon. I know that I need at adaptor for my laptop.

Would a an adaptor with the 2 slanted prongs be sufficient????? Or should I just not bother and buy it in Beijing. Because the ones that i can find in local stoes and online are $5.99 to $25.00 and about #30 or $40 for the universal adaptor +a converter
