what goods and ideas were traded on the silk road?

Silk was the originate and frequent goods that were traded along the road. Besides, the goods included fur and feather, jade, jewllery and spice. Due to the trading, many countries started to have communication and exchanges.

As far as I know, the Buddism of Indian, the legislation and medicine of Arabic and the graving from Greece were introduced to China.
The four great inventions were brought to the European countries. All the spread of them items were closely related with the Silk Road.
