About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

I'm applying for a tourist visa. Would it be easier to use an invitatn letter?

For the "hotel reservation" section, do i need to provide reservations for every night of my stay. I would be travelling around, possibly staying with a friend for a night or two, and so my accomodation and locations are not fixed. Would it be enough to provide reservation information for my first few nights. (I'm staying for 2 weeks)

If not, would it be easier to use an invitation letter from my friend instead (My friend is a Chinese resident, but currently studying in the UK, and will be going home to Guangzhou during the summer months while I'm visiting)

Yes, if you could provide the invitation letter. At least you needn't book the return flight ticket and hotel reservation during your stay in China.

In the invitation letter, for the inviter: is it better to put Chinese contact information or UK contact information? Since she will be in the UK at the time of my application, but in China, while I am visiting.

Thank you

Of course, you need to put Chinese contact information for application.
