About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Visit Hong Kong in Shanghai Trip

Fly from Melbourne and stay in Shanghai for less than 72 hours to enjoy the visa free transit and fly to Hong Kong then come back to Shanghai stay and other 2 days before fly back to Melbourne. Is it possible to enjoy the free transit in this case?

I am afraid not, because this may not be considered a transit via Shanghai airport if you will visit Shanghai twice within a short time. Anyway, you can contact Shanghai airport or the airline for the direct answer.
