About:China Work Visa

Mother as A dependent

Hi..I was offered a teaching job in China. I would like to bring my son. I have read the process and I understand that I only need to present the birth certificate for him to get an independent visa. but, i have not read any requirements if you will declare your mother as dependent. by the way, can I bring my mother and declare her as my dependent. She is already 65 and not working. Thanks a lot. Hope to hear any ideas and suggestions regarding this matter.
