trip from hangzhou to Yunnan, Sichuan, Xian and back to Hangzhou

Hello,

Iam currently in Hangzhou but planning to do some travelling to yunnan then stop up at Emei Shan, le shan on my way to Chengdu where I plan to stay a few days , go see the panda bears and then make my way up to Jiuzhaigou for a couple of days. then I also wanted to go over to Xi an to see terracota warriors and the city wall. I have 5 weeks to make this trip and i have to return to Hangzhou. Here are my questions

1. What is the best route to take from Yunnan to Sichuan? By best I mean the least expensive but I prefer not to be on a train or bus for more than 20 hours

2. Due to the recent earthquake are the roads still open to Emei Shan and le shan and to Chengdu?

3. Is the panda research center still open after the earthquake and will it be easy to get to?

4. Will I still be able to go to Jiuzhaigou, based on raod conditions and destruction of the earthquake?

I plan to leave the second week in June.
ANy information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Its my first time planning a trip like this and any assistance would be appreciated!!!
Thanks!
Joanna

From Kunming to Chengdu, the direct trains all take about 20 to 23 hours on the way, so the direct flights are still suggested and it is easy to get discount air tickets if you book in advance.
The earthquake do not effect the roads to Emei Mountain, the Leshan and to Chengdu, so it is no need to worry about it.
The panda research center in Chengdu is still open, so you can visit it.
You can go to Jiuzhaigou without worrying too much. The earthquake did not effect that place.
June will be hot in most of the places you plan to cover, so you need to do some preparation on the sun protection. No other aspects you need to pay attention. If you have any other problem when you traveling, you can ask other travelers on this website and I am sure you can get their help.
Hope you have a nice trip in China.
