checking in bags whilst in transit in pudong airport

Question

I am arriving into PVG on a KLM flight from AMS.  My final destination is HIJ.  I am unable to check my bags through to HIJ so what will happen when I get to PVG?  I have only ever been in transit when my bags have been checked through.  Will I be able to check in my bags without getting a visa?  My flight to HIJ is on China Eastern

In PVG, you need to take your luggage and then to make the transfer.You luggage can be check in without getting a visa, so please do not worry about it.
