Good track record

I've been approved for China visa 3 times in the past, all for family visit purposes. I am applying again for another one. With this consistent track record of being approved, do I still need to present an invitation letter? The bank statements are only for first time applicants, right? So I don't need to show a copy anymore?

Invitation letter is required for your application. For the bank statements, it should be based on the consular officers.
