About:China Visa on Arrival

what possibilities I have to get a transit visa and and for how long. I have a Indian passport.

I am planning for a road trip from UK to India where in I have to enter China.....

In order to apply for the G type, you need to povide the connecting air ticket. But you just travel on a road trip. So I think you need to apply for a L type one instead of the G type.
