Procedure for Chinese visa required for a British citizen living in Bordeaux, France

Can you guide me as what I have do in getting one for 1-2 months? I am a British citizen, living in Bordeaux. I am hoping to travel in September and October months 2013. I am traveling to explore business possibilities, and use some of my time in traveling there. I know a few Chinese citizens whom I met in Europe.

Hi, you can apply for a tousit L in France, the L is good for 3 months with duration of 30 days. If you want to stay longer, you can apply for L extension at local PSB while you are there. Because you have no invitation letter from any business partner, it is impossible for you to get the business F type.
