About:Li River

We have travel plans to Guilin and Yangshuo end of this month but we hear there are heavy floods affecting the province. Is it safe to travel?

traveling end of May.

It is not safe currently. The dense rainfall makes the water level increase a lot and many drafts for that journey have to stop operating. But as you will travel in the end of May, the situation may become better. Then you can go there with nothing to worry! Anyway, I suggest you pay close attention to the news.

Is there any update on the situation in Guilin?

We were looking to travel down on the 13th (this Monday), but haven't risked booking anything as of yet.

Any info would be appreciated!

I went there and took the cruise the day before yesterday. It was beautiful. But the draft for the journey I heard are still out of service.
