Which section of Great Wall are you referring to? If it is Badaling, you can walk from your hotel to Wangfujing MTR Station to take subway line 1 to Fuxingmen, where transfer to subway line 2 and get off at Jishuitan Station, from which you can walk to Deshengmen to take bus no. 919 or 880 to the destination directly.
if it is Mutianyu, take subway line 1 at Wangfujing to Jianguomen, where transfer to subway line 2 to Dongzhimen. At Dongzhimen Outer, you can take No.867 to Mutianyu directly in about 2.5 hours.
