About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Do I need a G type one for Hong Kong?

I am Pakistani student studying at Yangtze University, Jingzhou, Hubei, China and have one year residency. I want to travell to Pakistan from Wuhan- Hong Kong- Karachi through Cathay Pacific airline.

Yes, you need to get an entry for transit before coming to HK. You can apply for it from Immigration Division of the Office of the Government of the HKSAR in Beijing or Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong.
