About:Tibet Trains: Schedule and Tickets to Lhasa

Would it be possible to visit Lhasa for a few days by train?

We will probably fly to Shanghai and stay for at least two weeks. Can we stop along the way to break the journey or do we go direct there? How do we organise a visa? Thank you for your help.

If you want to travel to that city, you need to get a Tibet travel permit and you must travel in a group with a tour agency, otherwise, you cannot go there.
It is suggested to consult a tour agency for detail information.
For the visa, if you get a visa to enter China in your country, no other special visa is needed to enter Tibet. You only need a travel permit.
