train travel from hangzhou to kunming

What's the best train to take  from Hangzhou to KM so we could enjoy the scenery from Guiyang to KM during day time and not night time? Do we have to book train tickets online and very early? And is it easy and possible to buy train ticket at the Hangzhou train station?

There are three trains between the two cities and one does not pass Guiyang. The other two trains pass Guiyang, the operation time from Guiyang to KM are both at nights. I think for more detail information about the trains, you can search on https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/. Since there are only three trains and not starts from Hangzhou, it is suggested to book the train in advance. You can book the train tickets on the website I listed here in about25 days before. It is not suggested to book at the train station, because you have to wait for a long time.
