meeting place in shanghai pudong airport

Question

I will be arriving the Airport about 5:30 pm.  Friends will pick me up but may not be able to get to ailrport until 6:00 pm or later.  Can you suggest a location where I can wait for them?  The location shouldbe close to the exit from customs,  easy for me to find, and easy for my friends to locate.  Thank you.

It is hard to find a certain section for you to wait for your friend. I suggest you to find a food store or a shop to have a seat and wait for him or her patiently. After you get your luggage, you may easily find a Burger King or a Aviator Bar near that area, so you may go there to wait for him. Or you can easily find some small stores and book stores. They are very easy for you to find. If you cannot find it, ask the airport staff directly.
