2 weeks in mainland

I am an Australian citizen living in Vietnam, going for 2 weeks, will spend time around Shanghai and Beijing. I only need a Tourist visa. Do I have to go to the consulate genera in Vietnam to obtain it? And do I have to have the application submitted in a time frame before my departure date?

Hi, a single entry tourist L is enough for your visit. You can apply either in person or by someone entrusted. A single entry L is valid for 3 months from issue date, so you are suggested to apply one month prior of your departure date.
