5 day visit to buy equipment

I need to travel to Beijing in May to purchase some scientific equipment. The value of the equipment is about $20,000. I will be only staying long enough to pick it up and then return to Australia - 4 days planned. Which Visa is best for me? Is there a problem taking such equipment out of China or are there duties to be paid?
