About:Beijing Transportation Smart Card

how long is the smart card valid for in Beijing? Will it be valid if more than 2 years?

CAn one hold a valid card for approx 2 years or more??? Or have it updated once one returns after an
absence of 2 years in Peking??? One can do that with an Octopus card in Hongkog.

If you want to use it again after two years, you need to go to any recharging position or issuing position to activate it. The recharging place or issuing position include all the subway stations, some bus stations and even some supermarkets.
