About:China Visa Exemption

I'm Canadian and is going to Shenzhen from Hong Kong for 6 hours to visit a friend. Do I need a visa?

You can apply for a Shenzhen visa on arrival.

Yes, you can get it in Luo hu port. The processing takes few minutes only.

Thanks again Nathaniel! Has anyone tried to cross the border on May 1 in the afternoon from HK to Shenzhen? Is it going to be hell since it's a national holiday?

There must be many people on May 1, but the processing each person takes a few minutes only.
