About:Dress Code in China

Would it be alright for my 18 year old son to wear a kilt when he tours China in June?

My son has recently started wearing Scottish kilts around our home, and in public. Will it be a problem if he were to wear a kilt when he comes to China in June on an Educational Tour?

Since he will join an education tour, so it is not suggested to wear that kind of kilts. Pants and jeans are acceptable during the tour.

So why is it not suggested? We are just curious.

Since it is your culture, it can be accepted in China if your son wear that. DOn't worry!
I used to have an English teacher from Scotland and he worn that even in class. We all are able to accept. Take easy!
