About:Transfer at Shanghai Maglev Stations

Maglev to PVG?

I'm a bit confused, so if anyone can clear this up for me I would be grateful. I was under the impression that the Maglev train did not go to PVG. But from this article it sounds like the train does. I was told I would have to switch to the subway, line 2, to get to PVG. Is that true?

From Longyang Road Station, you can take the maglev train to reach the airport directly.
As for the methods to reach Longyang Road Station, you can choose to take local subway line 2 to reach.
The maglev trains only operate from Longyang Road Station to PVG.
