how easy to get a cab for foreigners who doesn't know chinese in xining railway station

Question

1. How much the cab fare and travel distance?2. What's the minimum reporting time in China Airport for catch a domestic flight?3. How much should I factor in the usual late running of train from Lhasa to Xining which is supposed to reach there on 7.26 am4. Advise considering all above is it safe to connect to Xining by Lhasa train at 7.26am and then take flight at 10.10am from Xining to Chengdu?

The taxi fare from the train station to the local airport is around CNY90, including the toll fee. To catch a domestic flight in China, you need to leave at least 1.5-2h for checking. It is hard to tell you how long the train may arrive late for. Generally, 5-10min is most normal. In my opinion, it may not be very secure to catch the flight at 10:10 for your train arrival at 07:26 for due time. You'd better change your flight.

And for reference:  it takes around half an hour from the train station to the airport by taxi.
