About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Does Chinese Birth certificte need to be certified before apply residence permit in China?

This is Fran again.
my question is does my son's Chinese birth certificate need to be CERTIFIED (not notified)?
my husband will work at China with a Z visa, and my son will be the accompany family member with him.

I think you needn't make it certified. It's just a part of the materials you need to provide for the application.
