About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

When to apply and docs required for July holiday in China?

I intend to travel the 2nd wk of July for 14 days and i have an Irish passport.
(Q1.) Can i apply now and have it post dated for July?
(Q2.) Do i send my passport with my application form/photo or do i send it later?

Question 1: It is advised to apply one month in advance. If you apply it too early, yours might expire before your departure.
Question 2: Chinese embassy in Ireland doesn't accept application by mail. You have to do it in person or entrust someone to do it for you.
