About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

We, a team of 11 of Central Bankers planning to Visit China-Tibet. Explain the Visa process please.

We are in a private group, no local travel agent, but found a travel agent from China to make a travel itinerary of Beijing and Tibet for 12 days, from 13th September to 23rd September, and got a quotation too. Only two of the team visted Beijing before. Could you kindly explain how we can get (Group Visa), please.

You should provide the following documents:
1. visa notification from the Chinese national tourist bureau or provincial tourist bureau. The Chinese travel agency you choose know how to obtain it. If they don't know, you should ask them to contact the local tourist bureau.
2. Completed tourist group visa form in triplicate. You can get it from the Chinese embassy.
3. Original passports that have been arranged in an order which is consistent with that appearing in the application form.

By the way, you need a travel permit for your trip to Tibet. It should be taken care of by the travel agency you choose.
