About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Entering and leaving shanghai

Hi, I'm a malaysian (permanent resident here) and i understand that i need a visa to enter china but not for taiwan. i would like to know if i can enter shanghai from here and then leaving shanghai for taiwan, instead of a round trip between shanghai and singapore. Thanks! :)
