As far as I know, the Huaihai Middle Road used to be a main road for the French Concession, so you can take the sightseeing bus line 1 to reach Huaihai Middle Road at the gate of the Huaihai Park. Get off the bus, you can walk along Huaihai Road to enjoy the French Concession.
