chines transit visa to undertake short tour in shanghai.

Question

I will be travelling to and from Japan by China Easter Airlines with a return route of Delhi-Shanghai-Okayama.  On my 6th of May return journey, wherein, there is a layover of about 11 hours at Shanghai, I wish to take a short Shanghai tour before arriving in Delhi, the same day. i want to know the documents  required for the same and the cost.  i have Japan valid travel document stamped and a return ticket

You need to apply for a transit visa G with your valid passport, completed Application Forms with a recent color photo, your travel document and return ticket.
