If your destination is Canada after visiting HK, you are allowed to stay in HK for 7 days without visa.

Hello Mickey and thanks for your reply.
After visiting Hong Kong, I will return to mainland, not Canada. Then I will spend two weeks in Zhanjiang, Guangdong, followed by four days in Beijing and then I will return to Canada. Will I require a Visa for entry into Hong Kong?

Yes, you need to apply for a HK Enter Permit from Chinese embassy or consulate in Canada before leaving.
