touring sichuan

Question

I would like to visit some of the interesting places in Sichuan like Meishan, Leshan, Mt Emei, Maoxian,and Jiuzaigou. Can anyone advise the best way (time efficient and economical) to reach the mentionedplaces from Chengdu (I am flying to and fro from Kuala Lumpur to CD) ? For budgetary reason, Ido not intend to take any domenstic flights. Any sugestion of places I should not missed enroute to those places mentioned above CD. Thank you.

Upon your arrival at this city, you can go to the local Xinnanmen Bus Station to take the direct long-distance bus to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. The bus journey may take about 8-9h. After that, go back to the city again, at the local Railway Station, you can take the direct train to Meishan and you will reach there within 1.5h. Then at Meishan Passenger Transportation Center, there are frequent buses to Leshan. Then take the local public bus or taxi to reach the Giant Buddha. Well, after your visiting at Leshan, go to the local Xiaoba Bus Station to take a direct bus to Emei. Then a taxi can take you to the scenic area very fast. After all the travel, you need to go back to CD city. Then go to the local Chadianzi Bus Station to take a bus to Maoxian to have a look.

Hello Lisa, thank you very much for your valuable advise. It looks like there are much travellingto be done on the road to reach to the various interesting places in Sichuan.
