About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

visa interview at us embassy same day with trip to hongkong

Filipino citizen with valid Philippine passport until June 2015, however the interview at US embassy Manila is 8am April 3 and they might capture my passport for the US visa issuance, trip to hongkong is April 3 8pm, what to do? Can I ask for a travel permit instead to go to hk? Will visit hongkong with family for 7 days only.

I am afraid not, your original passport is required for entry into HK.
