Meat is the main ingredient in American food, while rice and noodles are the ingredients for Chinese dishes.
Chinese food are usually well cooked before eating, while American one are eaten in raw.
American food are made fast and eaten fast, while Chinese dishes usually needs a long time to be cooked and eaten in a certain time.
These differences are all I know.

Western food is also cooked, but done differently. Sauces are different. There is 'fast food' like hamburgers and other cuisine such as roast beef, or steak. True, sometimes the meat is cooked according to the tastes of the diner they may ask for medium rare steak, or even steak cooked rare. The salads are often not cooked,
