Wuhan visa multiple entries

I am staying in the city for 5 1/2 months. I have a 1 year multiple entries visa for 90 days each duration. After 90 days, can I go to Hong Kong for a week, then come back to WH city? Or do I need to go farther like Vietnam?

I should also mention it is a tourist visa.

Sure, you can visit HK or Macao before your 90 day duration expires and enter again. Leaving for HK or Macao counts an exit from mainland China.
