About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Visa to enter Hong Kong to conduct research and study visits in university in Hong Kong for ~6month

What type of visa should I apply? And what are the documents required? Thank you.

It should be Business Visa to HK. Original invitation from Hong Kong's host university is required. Their address, telephone number are required as well. Others needed are your passport, application form, photo, round trip air-ticket booking list, hotel reservation. besides, your company register certificate, tax clearance, true bank statement and employed certificate are required if necessary.
