About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Do i need transit visa? i'm Thai citizen

I'm Thai citizen. If i buy ticket from jfk (New York) to bkk( Bangkok) and stop at shanghai airport for 19 hour. Can i go out and come back within 19 hour? And do i have to apply transit G?

You need to get a transit G in advance if you want to go out of the airport.

You mean i have to apply for it at china embassy in usa or at the pvg air port?
