we will be at kunming at 12noon while coming from beijing to kolkata & our next flight at 12 midnight, how we can utilise the time in the best way?

You can go to Guandu Ancient Town by taxi and then go to Culture Land and Qianju Street in the city downtown to enjoy evening. After that you can take airport shuttle bus to reach the airport.
