Shanghai visa exemption when travelling on to Hong Kong

Travelling to Shanghai on Aus passports for holidays and staying there for less than 72 hours. Then go to Hong Kong and Macau for 3 days, which includes a day trip to Zhuhai, before returning to Australia from Hong Kong. Will I qualify for visa exemption in Shanghai and purchase single entry visa at Zhuhai, or do I need double/multiple entry for China?

If you have ticket to HK, you qualify for the 72 hour visa exemption in Shanghai. For Zhuhai trip, you can get visa on arrival.
