on my return journey to the airport can i choose my get  on the shuttle bus without prior booking? or can i book at the hotel where the bus stops?do i need a round trip ticket with specified destinations?

The direct way is to take the bus A21 to reach Mongkok area directly. Yes, you can get on the shuttle bus without prior booking and the bus tickets are bought on the bus. The bus tickets cannot buy at the hotel where the bus stops.
