From Kunming to Dali by train

Possible take evening train from Kunming to DL, What is the train station name in the two places?
how can i know train timetable by website and by tickets in advance?

Yes, it is possible.
As far as I know, there are two trains around 23:10 and 23:39 at night and arrive in DL at around 07:00 in the next morning. The train journey costs around 7 hours.
For the timetable, you can search on https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/ and this website also provides ticket booking service.
