one day travel

Question

I'm going to Hong Kong and will go to China for one day, I won't have hotel reservations or flights in or out and I'm currently living in Vietnam. Can I still get a visa??

You may apply for it from the Chinese embassy in Vietnam. Except for other documents, you need to provide the copy of your passport information page. If you don't have hotel reservations or flights, you need to provide an invitation letter from any Chinese friend, relative (if you have) or company.
