Well, it is allowed to take long 20kg baggage for each passenger. If you take more, you need to check that on the train.

Is there a limit as to how much luggage can be checked? Is there any fee for checking luggage (not carried on but checked)? In America, on airplanes, we are allowed a certain amount we can check. After that limit, there is a fee. Does the same apply for the China Train?

Where can I find out how much extra will be charged? I understand the 20kg limit for carrying on the train (inside the cabin). How about for CHECKING luggage to be stored underneath or elsewhere? Where on the website can I find these specifics for extra charges and maximums allowed?
